Core Charges
Core Charges
All engines, transmissions, fuel system components and turbochargers have core charges.
How Our Core Charge Policy Works
The customer can choose to send in the core ahead of time to avoid paying a core charge. Or the customer can pay the refundable core charge at checkout. Once the core is received and inspected, the core charge will be refunded to the customer.
At the time of arrival, we will disassemble the core and inspect the parts to ensure they are good usable cores. If any of the parts are damaged beyond repair and/or not usable, those core charges will be billed to the customer at that time.
Core Charge Breakdown
We break these down into individual components so if the customer only has one or two bad pieces, they don't have to pay the full core charge. You will only pay for the damaged pieces. If everything checks out ok, there will be no core charges.
